Laney Gooch

Laney first started her Dance career at the age of 16 when she successfully auditioned for the Brisbane Bullets cheerleading squad. There she performed in front of a capacity crowd at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre when the national basketball league was in its prime.

Laney then headed overseas to Japan where she lived in Tokyo and continued her career as a Freelance dancer and model. For the next 10 years Laney worked as a Back-up dancer for famous Japanese singers, bands and International artists, also on numerous T.V commercials, Music videos, Corporate events, T.V. shows, Stage shows, Magic shows and Nightclubs.

Amongst some of the many Companies and Artists Laney worked for are: Toshinobu Kubota, Avex Trax – Record company, Jaguar, M.T.V, JAL (Japan Airlines), Hyundai, Maybelline Cosmetics, Fendi, Virgin Cinemas, Reebok, “007” Movie Premier, Shiseido, Pentax, Georgia Coffee, Trident chewing gum, Hitomi, Japan Countdown, Diesel, Magic Cyril….just to name a few.

Returning to Australia Laney studied a Certificate 2 in Arts (Performance) and worked in Sydney for 2 years as an Extra on T.V commercials, T.V shows and Movies such as: Wolverine, Home and Away, All Saints, St George CM and Berlei CM plus many more.

Laney trained in gymnastic and dance as a child and has always had an inner love and passion for dance.

Laney has completed a Module One certificate in Acrobatic Arts and a Certificate II in Arts (Performance).
