Class Description
Lead by Miss Laney, this class consists of an initial cardio warm up, so the heart rate is elevated and the muscles become warm. The next part of class moves to stretching where different exercises are used for different levels. After this the class moves onto tumbling drills. These may include backbends, handstands, forward and backward rolls. Progression in levels will have the students move to achieving cartwheels, forward and backward walkovers, handstand to forward rolls, backward rolls to handstand. If the student moves to a more elite level they would then achieve a forward and/or backward handspring and an aerial. Class then ends with a static stretch to cool down as this helps muscles to relax and re-establish their normal range of movement
